Immanuel United Church of Christ

About us

Immanuel Church is part of the national church body known as the United Church of Christ.  As a whole, we emphasize God radical love and acceptance of all.  If you would like to find out more about the United Church of Christ, please check out its website at http://www.ucc.org. 

 

While Immanuel Church is rooted in history, we are constantly looking forward to the future.  The church was founded April 9, 1893 by German settlers.  Founded as an German Evangelical Church, the congregation changed afflication to reflect changes in the denomination to which it belonged.  The German Evangelical Church became the Evangelical & Reformed Church 1934.  This church became part of the United Church of Christ in 1957.
